Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026
⚠️ Draft for review. Please have counsel review and finalize (including the governing-law section) before public launch.

These terms are the agreement between you and Loop for using the app. By using Loop, you agree to them.

Who can use Loop

How Loop works between people

Friends can act as matchmakers and introduce two people. A matchmaker brokers the introduction and then steps away — the resulting chat is a private one-on-one between the two people. If you make an introduction, do it respectfully and with the genuine belief the two people would want it.

Your content

You own the photos, text, and messages you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to host and display them within the app so Loop can function. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Community rules

To keep Loop safe and worth being on, don't:

You can block anyone, and you can report problems to safety@datewithloop.com. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Safety

Loop introduces people through their friends, but we can't guarantee anyone's identity, conduct, or intentions. Use good judgment, especially when meeting in person. You're responsible for your own interactions.

Ending your access

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers & liability

Loop is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for interactions between users or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Loop after a change means you accept it.
